Before the orbs had gotten close to Cloud, he had already shot himself into the air, slashing the closest orbs, as he past, in a spin, avoiding the rest of the orbs, the slashes, and the pebble. Landing, with a thud, several feet behind Sephiroth. He quickly spun around, as he took a quick glance at the kid, then back at his nemesis. Cloud hadn't missed a day of training, when he wasn't helping rebuild Radiant Gardens, help with Tifa's bar, or running his delivery service. He had a strange feeling that last battle wouldn't be the last he would see of Sephiroth. As the blade tip lowered, Cloud had begun to charge at the enemy, raising the blade, only to strike, in an upward slash.

Sephiroth was somewhat amused that Cloud had dodge both of his attacks. Sephiroth, had heard Cloud had touched the ground. He'd turn around and face Cloud running towards him. He positions himself in to counter attack known as Scintilla. First, he would block the blow. Doing so, small energy burst would start to cut all over his body. Then, Sephiroth would swing his sword that would send him flying backwards. "You ignorant traitor."

(When has Sephiroth ever been able to use the small energy burst? I have never seen him use an attack like that...when does he use it? :/)
Cloud had reached Sephiroth, in his charge, and had crossed swords with him. The ex-SOLDIER had flown backwards, only about a foot, before readying his stance once more, ad charging forward again. "I never betrayed anyone, Sephiroth! It was you who destroyed my village!" As soon as he had gotten close enough, he had swung. If his opponent chose then to block, he would push against the swords, then let himself fly backwards, increasing the distance.

“You’re ancestors betrayed the ancients. Being one of their descendents, you’re a traitor. You, who did not know this, make you an ignorant traitor!” Cloud charge at him. Sephiroth blocked his attack and pushed him back. Sephiroth hand started to glow bright red. With his attack blocked, cloud had been pushed back. But that wasn't all. His nemesis had thrown a fireball at him. Cloud moved forward, his buster sword at the ready. As soon as the magic attack got close, Cloud made a vertical swing downwards, splitting the fireball in half. As the flames faded, he realized something. Age had slowed himself down some. His training had kept him in shape, but he intended to increase his power, in order to beat Sephiroth. e wasn't ready for this yet. He still wasn't strong enough. There had to be something that could give him an edge on Sephiroth. Cloud suddenly leapt to the ground, about a foot from fenrir. Sliding the sword into it's holster, Cloud got unto his bike, turned the engine on, and preceeded to go, zooming straight through the train stations entrance. Next time, Sephiroth.

Sephiroth watched Cloud running off. Coward, Sephiroth thought to himself. If he was even half the man he used to be, he would have never run and at least made him sweat. He extremely disappointed with Cloud. At first, he aims his hand at Cloud as he ran away, but he wanted to see what he was up. Maybe he had a plan? So, he put his hand down and let him go.
