Appearance:
The sorceress of FF8 stand at a height of five feet and three inches. Her skin tone is a bit pale as well she is slim. Rinoa has layered black hair with some brown highlights on either side of her face. Her eyes are a deep brown and her face is heart shaped with a small nose.
Rinoa's dress is a ribbed knit blue duster that is sleeveless and angel wing markings on back. She also wears matching ribbed knit arm bands. The clothes underneath is a black halter style top, a black denim button up skirt, black leggings under the skirt, and a black band on her left arm. She is noted to have certain jewelry items as well. A bracelet on her right wrist, and a pair of angel wings on a chain around her neck.
Personality:
Rinoa is a very is they type of girl that might annoy at first but she can eventually win anyone over given enough time. She is compassionate beyond compare and would do anything to right injustices brought on to others. Very warm hearted and friendly as well, she makes friends easily and most would do anything for her. Very brave, she may not take herself into when putting herself on the line for others.
The young woman does have some fears however. Becoming a sorceress in her world and the receiver of not one, not two, but three sorceresses powers has brought these fears to the surface. Because two of these sorceresses were evil and lived only to bring harm to others, and the third was easily manipulated into bringing harm, Rinoa is in constant fear of what these powers can do to her in the long run. Sorceresses in her original world were said to have Knights that would ground them and keep them on the side of humanity and since Leon was her knight, these fears have brought her to sever reluctance and fear of what she is and what she can become.

((This part is basically a summary of Final Fantasy 8))
It began with a sense of jealous of Fury Caraway toward Lagoona over the beautiful song bird Julia Heartilly. One that sent Lagoona into a no win situation and he never made it back to Julia. In helping her move on, she eventually married Fury and eventually had a daughter...little Rinoa. Eventually making general in the Galbadia Army and his demanding position, he couldn't be there for Rinoa when her mother died in a car accident when she was five. This lead to quite a distancing between the pair. As she grew into her teen age years, Rinoa joined the resistance movement in Timber, known as the Forest Owls.
Learning of SeeD and being the leader of the Forest Owls, Rinoa made a trip to the SeeD Garden Facility in hopes of hiring out some seed members to assist her organization in some strikes against her father's forces and free Timber from oppression. It is here that she met Squall (Leon) for the first time and they shared a waltz during the graduation party. Immediately following, she ran off to join a friend she knew in Seifer and got introduced to the director of the facility Cid Kramer where she got her wish. Though meager payment only allowed her three operatives, Zell Dincht, Selphie Tilmitt, and of course again her path crossed with Squall Leonheart yet again for he was team leader. After some failure in some mission, she ordered the group under her command to help her lay low awhile. Squall (Leon) and Rinoa argued in the beginning several times before reaching the Balm Facility of SeeD.
Rinoa becomes an active member of the team and such for most of the minor misadventures leading up to an attempted assassination on the first Sorceress, Edea Kramer. though Edea was also under Ultimecia's influence at this point. Eventually this lead to a battle of the eventual mobile gardens, one heavily under Galbadia influence under Edea's command. Upon Edea's defeat at this battle, Rinoa became mysteriously comatose.
Later on she did awaken after being taken to the lunar base under the jurisdiction of Esther, the most technological city of their world. Under the influence of the Sorceress Ultimecia, she unlocked the prison of sorceress Adel and was abandoned afterwords to die in space. However through his own personal sacrifice, Squall abandoned his own life pod to get to Rinoa and save her, though both becoming abandoned on a ship that was stranded in space. Upon returning to the planet, Rinoa was taken into custody as an 'evil' sorceress and was to be sealed though again was later freed by Squall and crew and taken to the Orphanage of Edea Kramer where it became clear that Rinoa had become a sorceress, by Edea's defeat, Edea's power was forever transfered from her to the nearest receptor Rinoa Heartilly herself. Being what she was and hearing that Cid was Edea's Knight, Squall pledged himself to become her Sorceress Knight and protect Rinoa from becoming everything she fears, power making her evil. From then on, the pair defiantly a couple.
Later on, the crew went on to face Sorceress Adel who was acting vessel of Ultimecia and in a complicated battle where they had to kill Adel without harming Rinoa who was in constant harms was during the fight. Again Rinoa became the receptor to another sorceress abilities, this time gaining Adel's power. Upon Ultimecia's defeat, it also became known to Squall and later told to Rinao by Edea in conversation that Rinoa inadverably through Edea's defeat, also got Ultimecia's power due to the evil force losing her fight with Squall and the others and retreating back through time to a young Edea who received Ultimecia's powers. This making Rinoa receptor to the powers of three sorceresses instead of just two.

For a year that followed, there seemed to be a peace in the world and the relationship between Leon, which Squall now prefers, and Rinoa seemed to be growing stronger with each passing day. Perhaps another step in the relationship was on the horizon until that strange door appeared and opened. Darkness came forth into their world as a whole and things were chaotic. All Rinoa knows is that the world seemed to fall a part in an instant. A power she rarely uses was used here concerning time and space, though the girl didn't truly know what she was doing and blacked out through the ability's use.
When Rinoa has come to she is somewhere in what she is heard is called Traverse Town. Though there is no telling how long she has been out or how she ended up here. All she knows is that she doesn't know where her friends are. Or even where her Knight Leon is. This leaves her in some sense of disarray and confusion. All she knows is that she would like to find her friends again. She did recently find her dog Angelo in Transverse Town and that does brighten her spirits some.

Goals: Right now her only goal is to find Leon(Squall) and the friends that she knew before her world fell apart.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Rinoa possesses a high affiliation to magic, though it is a strength it is also a weakness due to her existing reservations about using it. Another strength is the brave heart that beats inside her chest, however she also as her own periods of emotional weakness as well.
Powers/Weapons
[/u][/size][/right]Magic: Rinoa has control over practically all elemental magic as well as various time and space magic. But due to her own reservations, she is extremely cautious as well as scared sometimes to use this ability. Even the healing magic she can use still gives her a sense of fear.
Abilities: Rinoa for the most part is an average human being that inherited her sorceress abilities from Adel, Edea, and Ultimecia. So Physically she is just a normal person and has no military training at all.

Shooting star
A specially crafted star weapon that sits upon a launcher on Rinoa's wrist.

"Why am I hear again?" She would ask it casually as if she fears nothing in general, though beneath her casual exterior the lovely young woman is quite afraid of everything right now. Rinoa would brush a brown highlighted lock back over her ear as she looks around at this strange dome chamber. The seven screens remain dark to her right now, though even that makes her a bit unnerved at this whole experience.
Since the young girl had awakened some fourteen days ago, everyone she has met has brought up strange things about gods to her. A group of six to be exact and that they were shocked that she held no affiliation to any of them. In fact when this Prophet of sorts passed through district one earlier today, she was shoved toward him and the people around her addressed her as an unguided soul that had no business being completely on her own without guidance. She could not really say yes or no to the question he asked of her and Jason took her with him when he left the crowd. As pushy as the crowd had been with her, this was also some relief. Angelo bounded after her and stayed close.
Now here they stand in this chamber with this seven screens and the holy feel to it. The girl knows magic. This magic here is holy in feel, almost live divine. This Jason Arilani would join her now and gesture to the chair before her, "Have a seat dear girl and we shall begin."
It is with a sense of uneasy caution that she steps forward and has a seat within the chair and the screens would come to life. Jumping slightly, she would stare as each one speaks to her and gives some speech of trusting in them. They want her to give her faith to them. Her heart would race as they do have their points in ability and strength. However, doubt raises in the girl's heart. If she knew who Leon might have chosen it might help her here, he would be the one she would choose.
There would be a whisper to her, almost as if trying to reassure her that her choice is her own. How can she have a choice that is her own, not with the history of...of what she is. "No", she would whisper. "I'm...I can't...Not yet." Her hands would go to her face and tears would begin to fall, but at the same time something else would begin to build as well.
This would bring about a sense of confusion through out the room. No doubt they thought she would simply choose and that would be that. But no, Rinoa just can't choose for herself right now. Angelo would rise to his feet and run from the room, barking. Almost as if he knew what was about to happen. It is then that they appear. Launching outward from her back, as if they were there all along, it is also in the next instance that in her confused state, there is what one could only call an explosion that rocks the room, perhaps slamming an uncertain Jason into the wall behind them.
In a panic, realizing what the girl has done and the wings present. "Ahh", she would look down on the Prophet as he is there, "Forgive me. I'm sorry." The weeping female would flee the room. Her dog in hot pursuit, a few barks being heard as a result.
The other gods would make their departure as two gods only would remain. One of these would choose to speak. "A girl with a beautiful heart, but so scared about what she has become. That fear is what has made her run from us. She must be taught that she has no reason to fear what she is." These the words of the The Good God of Magic himself. Though his counter part heard his words he said nothing.
Other: Rinoa is a sorceress with almost every variety of magic a hand for her to use. Through time and space magic that she still has next to no control over, she has been froze in time physically and sent a head by fifty years though she herself is unaware of the time that she has jumped across on her own trip to Transverse Town...because Angelo was close to her it is why the dog remained young. That is why she still looks eighteen years old, though her aging would continue from the time she awoke normally.
Also, when Rinoa does break down and use magic, she has a pair of energy based wings that appear on her back. This is her angel wing effect and it lasts until the energy wains down.[/color]
